Burger King are launching new fries, and I dont mean the spotty tean behind the counter will be throwing chips at you. That would be odd! We are taking about the launch of a healthier chip. This is a proud moment in the life of the spud its Spudtastic stuff Shame that Mr spud has been chopped up and cant be there for the launch party.
Satisfries are meant to be healthy, well less fat than the not satisfrying ones. They are crinkle cut too! They look really tasty but admittedly I've only seen the photo not the acual fries. We all know a bit of photo shop touch up can make a pile of mud look tasty. Seriously though its great to see a fast food outlet taking our health seriously, and actively doing something about the fat content of their food. Of course Mcdonalds, that well known healthy eating joint is offering free fruit with some of their meals on Free fruit Friday. Healthy is good and this is what consumers want right? . I remember when Mcdonalds started selling salads. Yes I was gobsmacked too. The ironic thing here was the salad swimming in the dressingbthry gave you acualy had more fat snd cals than a Big Mac. Who knew!! In Tesco where I used to work, a health consious shopper was once after fat free lard. Now if anyone pulls that one out the bag they are seriously onto something.
Anyway do you want fries on Friday that are cheaper than chips? You do? Well, the chips are down, literally lower than one of Jordans cleavage revealing tops. I have seen instore adverts and something on telly saying that Burger King are giving away FREE Satisfries all day on Friday, only on Friday 21/3. ( Unlikely Jordans tops are going free too but thats a novel marketing idea). From what I gather you turn up and get the fries for free, no purchase needed. See cheaper than chips.. David Dickinson will be chuffed.
By the way im not making this up, despite BK being the home of the Whooper :-) Im not being paid by Burger King, this isnt a corrupt blog, I just like chips - I serve mine covered in mayo or salad cream. Does that make me seriously odd or a chip off the old block?
